HTML Tables

In HTML, Tables are defined with a <table> tag.

A table consist of rows.  Each row is defined by  <tr> tag. (tr stands for table row)

A row consist of columns.  Each column is defined using  <td> tag. (td stands for table data)

You can also define a row with heading columns using  <th> tag. (th stands for table heading)

The <td> elements constains cell data. .

The <td> elements can have HTML elements like text, images, lists, other tables, etc.

The width of a table can be defined using CSS or thru width attribute.
