HTML-Headings

Use Headings in HTML same way as you do in word document.  Heading give structure to a web page.

Heading 3 inside heading 2 means it is past of same section. Search Engine also use heading tag to derive structure of document. It is advisable to have 1 heading 1 tag in each page.  H1 should match overlap with title of page.

You should not use heading to make it big/bold.  Use specific tag to make it bold, big.


HTML Attributes Syntax

Attributes are provided with start tag of HTML element.

Start tag Element content End tag
<h1 class="heading"> Heading1 element </h1>
<h2> Heading 2 </h2>
<h3> Heading 3 </h3>
<h4> Heading 4 </h4>
